Statly ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our observability platform, including uptime monitoring, error tracking, and status page services.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information provided through our authentication provider (Clerk), including:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Organization name
  • Profile information you choose to provide

Monitor Configuration Data

To provide our monitoring services, we store:

  • URLs and endpoints you configure for monitoring
  • Monitor settings (check intervals, alert thresholds, etc.)
  • Response data from your monitored endpoints (status codes, latency)
  • Incident and maintenance window information

Error Tracking Data (Statly Observe)

If you use our error tracking SDKs, we collect:

  • Error messages and stack traces
  • Browser/runtime environment information
  • User context you explicitly attach (user ID, email, custom data)
  • Request information (URL, method, headers you choose to include)

Important: We only collect data you explicitly send through our SDKs. You control what user context and request data is included.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our monitoring and observability services
  • Send alerts and notifications about your monitored endpoints
  • Display status information on your public status pages
  • Improve our services and develop new features
  • Communicate with you about your account and service updates
  • Provide customer support

Data Storage and Security

Your data is processed and stored using:

  • Cloudflare: Our primary infrastructure for web application hosting, database storage (D1), and edge computing
  • AWS Lambda: Multi-region monitoring probes for global uptime checks
  • Clerk: Authentication and identity management

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. Data is primarily stored in US and EU regions.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Monitor heartbeat data is retained according to your plan (7 days to 12 months). You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@statly.live.

Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party services you configure for notifications:

  • Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams (for alert delivery)
  • PagerDuty, Opsgenie (for incident management)
  • Email providers (for notifications)
  • Twilio (for SMS alerts on applicable plans)

These integrations only receive data when you configure them and are subject to their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
